Redesign of the brand identity of Maison Bio sun, the sun care private label of LaGardenia perfumeries, one of the most important retailer in Italy with more than 300 stores across the country.

Redefining the colour code of packaging with focus on the link with visual world solar, away from current colours that are too moved towards world luxury. Starting from the old package of sun cream Maison Bio Sun, we have redesigned the graphic layout in order to
mantain an heritage with the past but, new and renovate.

THE NEW CONCEPT

The concept behind Maison – BIO sun reflects the evolution of the cosmetics world. it is a brand of natural products that can compete in terms of performance, elegance, texture and communications with major selective cosmetic brands skin-care and body-care. The distinguishing feature of Maison – BIO is the ability to combine the characteristics of the the pharmacy products (naturalness, security, research etc.) with the appeal of perfumery products (look & feel and communication).

GRAPHIC ELEMENTS

The evolutionary proposal creates continuity with the main line and the previous version by integrating the palette with colors more moved to the solar field. The result is a refined and glamorous brand image which evokes a world

of shining beauty maintaining a cosmopolitan and contemporary appeal. The graphic pattern evokes the sun rays, symbol and icon of summer.

ICON SYSTEM

A system of icons has also been created to illustrate the contents and enhance the new communication system. There are the sun care products for body, for visage and some others for hairs. In particular, for the high protection product line, has been designed a specific icon, a little heart which shows how this line is suitable and recommended for the babies.

VISUAL LANGUAGE AND ART DIRECTION

Still lifes are clean and minimal to express the distictiviness and elegance of the products and highlight
the richness and professional safety, both connected to the glamour image of the Sun Line.
Still lifes and groupages are made for advertising campaign, for corporate’s application and for any other publishings.
